NewCo

Not everyone starts with a city in mind. Some start with a feeling. Others start with a view. We designed for all of them.

The Goal

Most travel apps begin with a question: “Where do you want to go?” But what if the answer is: “I’m not sure.”

Some users start with a vibe: they know they want beaches, mountains, or small towns. Others are driven by activities: skiing, diving, hiking.

The Problem

We broke down intent into three simple buckets:

  • Destination-first: for users who already have countries or cities in mind
  • Landscape-first: for people drawn to natural environments or climate
  • Activity-first: for users whose passion leads their planning

This allowed us to meet users where they are, whether they’re craving Italy, the Alps, or just somewhere they can hike.

The Solution

  • Three clear tabs: Destination, Landscape, and Activity
  • Each mode presents rich visual cards with regionally relevant options
  • Filters like when, budget, and companions adapt seamlessly across modes

No pressure to know exactly what you want, just scroll until something sparks

Reflection

This project reminded me that exploration doesn’t start with a flight, it starts with a spark.

Designing for different starting points helped us turn indecision into inspiration.
